Kajal Sharma is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy at IIT Bombay-Monash Research Academy, which is a joint venture between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Monash University in Australia. Her research focuses on the generation of water-in-water emulsions by using an active micromixer for cosmetic applications, as well as on helical and core-shell microfibers generation via microfluidics for SERS applications. Her post graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in Nanotechnology has equipped her with the advanced knowledge and skills to excel in a multidisciplinary field. Her hobbies include reading and playing foosball.
